TRYON
Sherwyn Basil Tryon together with his parents started New Covenant Fellowship Church in Durban, South Africa in August 1986, playing an acoustic Bellini guitar while his 3 sisters sang with his mom leading the church in praise and worship.
Sherwyn faithfully served in the church for 15 years serving in various departments such as Youth, Young Adults, Men's Department and as a musician in the Praise and Worship Department. He was also a full-time worker being trained as a Pastor under his dad, Bishop Basil Tryon and served as Church Administrator for over 6 years. Sherwyn was also the Building Project Co-ordinator for the first auditorium and administration offices which were built in 1998. Sherwyn together with his wife, Amanda, were a faithful, hard-working and dedicated couple at New Covenant Fellowship and were role-models to many young married couples in the church and community.
In 2002, Sherwyn and Amanda together with their children, left South Africa to go to Canada and pursue a God-given desire to attend Bible College. Sherwyn attended Prairie Bible College in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada and in 2005, graduated and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Ministry Degree.

He was also ordained as a Minister of the Gospel, went into full-time ministry and in 2005 became the Senior Pastor at Airdrie Victory Church, Airdrie, Alberta, Canada, where he still is to this day.

Sherwyn and Amanda are the founders of Sherwyn Tryon Ministries. They currently reside in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada together with their four children.

Sherwyn Tryon Ministries is committed to advancing the Kingdom of God through the gospel. Kingdom expansion takes place when the Word of God invades our hearts and by the renewing of our mind are we then able to see ourselves as we ought to; joint-heirs with Christ, seated together in heavenly places, exercising dominion and authority over all of creation.

Our vision is for the kingdom of God to be preached to the uttermost parts of the earth. The lost must come to the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Every person must have the ability to hear and receive the revelation of the kingdom of God, gain knowledge of who they are in Christ and ultimately experience the power of God in their lives.
